SYDNEY O’BRIEN

Email: sydney@architechsports.com

Sydney joined Architech Sports after graduating with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from High Point University. Prior to studying at HPU, Sydney attended East Carolina University where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training.

During her time at ECU, Sydney was able to work with a variety of athletes as she was responsible for the rehabilitation of their athletes both on and off the field.

Sydney’s passion for physical therapy and sports performance began when she was a young athlete.  She suffered 2 ACL tears in high school while playing soccer. Her Athletic Trainer and Physical Therapist at the time taught her that you can return to a high level of play even after sustaining a major injury. Sydney found that she had a passion to guide athletes back to their independence, high level performance and confidence while she went through the rehab process herself.

When Sydney isn't in the clinic, she loves anything and everything outdoors.  She is always willing to play a pick-up soccer game or go for a hike. She enjoys running and recently completed her first Marathon.  Her next endurance athlete goal is to compete in an Iron Man.
